How to select oil?

While selecting suitable oil we have to take into consideration the following points:

Purpose / Use – It may be for :


For pickling: we require the oil which has antifungal, antibacterial properties. In India we use Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil since long for this purpose, because this is only oil available in the market that provides antifungal, antibacterial properties as well as flavour and taste to the pickle.
